•    I am happy to offer new students a no obligation free first lesson so that both parents and students can guage my teaching style;
•    I can teach at your home (within the Sheffield area) or at our home (which is the cheaper option);
•    I am fully CRB checked and ask  parents to sit in on lessons initially - a good way of seeing your child's learning for yourself - and a cuppa is part of our routine!
•    I am also a member of the Registry of Guitar Teachers
•    As a qualified primary classroom teacher of thirteen years' experience, I aim to teach in a friendly and patient style as the student meets each fresh                 challenge on their instrument;

•    Discounted block bookings of lessons are available for students who are able to give a weekly commitment;     
•    However, as a budget arrangement, I am happy to consider fortnightly lessons if students can be flexible week to week.

       Cancelling Lessons

          We all need to cancel lessons on occasion through illness, shopping or unforeseen circumstances. It is my intention always to give students the best value                    

      for money, and even as a block booking student you can cancel a lesson for any reason even at short notice without losing your lesson cost if we can agree a  

      mutually convenient alternative slot within that week. I would however ask students to keep as consistent a routine as possible!  One exception is that I regret I 

      will need to charge for a home lesson which is cancelled once I have set off to teach it. If I myself need to cancel a lesson I will of course offer an alternative

      lesson or carry the lesson cost over. 

  

      Holidays

          During school holidays students are of course free to book off any weeks they wish, or continue through the period if I myself am available.
